Ann (Annie) Warner Roberts
About me: Since 1992 I have been involved in the local, national and international development of Restorative Justice. After retiring as Senior Fellow with the University of Minnesota, Center for Restorative Justice and Peacemaking, I continue to serve as a National Associate. My experience is in training, technical assistance, and facilitating/mediation multiple RJ dialogue practices (mediation, conferences and circles) used in a range of cases, from minor to serious and violent criminal justice cases.
Why I joined the RNW Board: I want to use my experience and energy to advance the field of mediation and Restorative Justice, towards the goal of peacemaking and community building. Resolutions Northwest has a reputation of being one of the oldest and most successful programs in the country, and I feel fortunate to find such an organization in the city to which I recently relocated. Staying involved in the field allows me to get updated on the state of the art and to learn about new ideas and continue to pursue my passion for the work.
My current career: Retired, and doing volunteer work.
