Training and Education Training and Education is a key component of our work at Resolutions Northwest. We provide Basic Mediation Training and Continuing Education opportunities for our dedicated volunteers, as well as skills-based trainings for neighbors, schools, families, businesses and organizations. Resolutions Northwest hosts an annual 36-hour Basic Mediation Training, for our volunteer mediators. (Some non-volunteer slots are available for a fee.) The mediation training curriculum is consistent with minimum mediator training qualifications outlined in OUS/UO Chapter 571, Division 100, Rules Governing the Community Dispute Resolution Program Advanced training opportunities for volunteer mediators are offered periodically throughout the year. We offer a variety of trainings and seminars for individuals, groups and organizations. For over a decade, Resolutions Northwest and other community partners have offered an annual conference offering a variety of workshops on non-violent conflict resolution for middle and high school students.
