Neighborhood Mediation Program
Resolutions Northwest provides a comprehensive Neighborhood Mediation Program to help neighbors and families in Portland resolve conflicts in a positive and personal way, outside of the legal system. We offer no/low cost, confidential, and effective solutions to many common neighborhood disputes:
- Neighborhood: noise, pets, property maintenance, nuisances, boundary disputes
- Interpersonal: harassment, threats, minor assaults
- Landlord/Tenant: repairs, damages, public safety, evictions
- Organizational: consultation and facilitation for neighborhood groups, churches, other public or private agencies

Subject: Issue resolved
I called Resolutions Northwest yesterday to tell them the issue with my neighbor has been resolved. [...] A huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders, and part of that is knowing if all my best efforts had failed, RN would have been there to help.
[RNW Staff] you were the one who initially took the time to talk with me last week, and that meant a lot to me, just to have someone to talk with about my problem. I have been very impressed with everyone's concern and promptness in getting back to me. If I or anyone in my neighborhood has another issue that cannot be resolved on our own, I will definitely call RN again. It seems like a wonderful organization.
