OREGON’S 14TH Annual Peacemakers Conference

Peacemakers is EXCITED to invite all Middle and High School YOUTH to join us for an amazing day of WORKSHOPS, CELEBRATION and most importantly working together to CREATE CHANGE!!! Why should I come this year?
What do I need in order to attend the conference?
Here are some ideas: Host a car wash Talk to your PTA Sell magazines/food Do yard service in your neighborhood Ask local businesses for sponsorship Host an activity/carnival night and charge a small entrance fee
T-Shirts will also be for sale at the Conference. They will be between $10-15 depending on style. Fundraising will also help to buy you or your school a sweeeeet shirt!
A collaborative partnership between Resolutions Northwest, public agencies, and private organizations, the Peacemakers conference provides practical instruction and skills for middle and high school students. Participants gain knowledge and confidence that allows them to act as resources for up to 25,000 students across Oregon. Workshops are varied, with 45+ different topics such as relationship aggression, media influence on behavior, cultural differences, and concerns for men, women, and Spanish speakers.

The Peacemakers Conference brings hundreds of middle and high school students together every fall for interactive workshops and learning about non-violence and peacebuilding in Portland.
