BIPOC RESTORATIVE JUSTICE & EQUITY INFORMED MEDIATION COHORT (May 2022)

Starts: May 22, 2022 Ends: August 28, 2022

Cost: Free Space is limited, register now.

Restorative Justice is a way of life. Equity informed mediation is one of the ways we actualize restorative values through conflict exploration.

Learn, practice, share, and build community and relationships with fellow Black, Brown, and Indigenous People of Color.

This Cohort Will:

Invite us, as Black, Brown & Indigenous People of Color, to simply be – with ourselves and each other

Encourage us to get and stay curious about the ways we can restore our relationships with ourselves

Engage in conversation about and practical application of Restorative Justice and Equity Informed Mediation

Allow us to take a look at our communities and commit to bringing restorative values into everything we do

Cohort Goals

Be Unapologetically BIPOC

Collaborate and build community with BIPOC folx seeking to make change in our communities

Understanding the difference between personal and systemic restorative practices and how to live into and implement them effectively

Create equitable and inclusive spaces

Learn skills for facilitating + leading restorative spaces

This cohort would be best for…

Black, Brown & Indigenous People of Color seeking to practice Restorative Justice and Equity Informed Mediation in their communities. BIPOC folx that are tired of white dominant spaces that don’t tend to the healing, care, and love of our communities. BIPOC that are interested in connecting, collaborating, building, and growing with each other. Basically, a lot of community!!
